In short: we collect only what is needed to run Tessule for you. The data you put into your workspaces is yours. We do not sell personal data, run advertising, or track you across other sites. The product is an early-access beta: see theterms for how little stability to expect from it.

Who is responsible

Tessule is an early-access product currently operated by its founder as an individual, based in the United Kingdom, ahead of forming a company. "We" on this page means that individual. When the company is registered, this page will be updated to name it and you will be told in the product.

What we collect

How we use it

To provide the service you signed up for, to keep it secure and available, to answer your support requests, to bill your organisation if it has a paid plan, and to meet legal obligations. Nothing else.

AI features and connected assistants

Some features send the content you are working on to an AI model provider to produce a result. This happens only when you use the feature, only with what the feature needs, and the provider does not train on it. If you connect an external AI assistant to a workspace, it acts under your own permissions and every action is recorded in that workspace's history. We do not receive the assistant's conversation with you. You can disconnect it at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the product: cloud hosting and storage (in the EU), transactional email, payment processing, the AI model provider above, and error and performance monitoring. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and receives only what its job needs. We disclose personal data otherwise only when the law requires it.

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies and runs no scripts. The Tessule app stores a few things in your browser, none of them for advertising or for tracking you across other sites:

The first three are needed for the service to work or to remember choices you made. The last helps us detect faults and improve the service, and stops when you switch it off.

How long we keep it

Workspace and account data are kept while your account or workspace exists. When you delete something, or close your account, it is removed from live systems promptly and from backups within 35 days. Server logs are kept for a short rolling window. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data-protection law you can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to or restrict how it is used. Workspace administrators can export their data from the product. For anything else, email us at the address below. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each workspace's data is kept in its own isolated database schema. Any administrative access to a customer workspace is recorded in that workspace's own history.

Changes and contact

Changes are posted here with a new date above; material changes are also announced in the product. Questions and requests: support@tessule.com. Our terms of service are at /terms/.
